Louise I. Buhrmann, MD, PA

Biography

Dr. Buhrmann was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and from about the age of 14, knew she wanted to practice medicine in the field of psychiatry. She received her medical degree from the University of Otago in New Zealand in 1975 and completed her residency in psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma in 1979. In 1980, Dr. Buhrmann began a private practice in Pensacola, Florida and in 1989, moved the practice to Winter Park, Florida.

Dr. Buhrmann is board certified in Psychiatry and Addictions, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. She offers treatment for adults (18+ years of age) in the areas of general psychiatry, chemical dependency, eating disorders, and women's issues.
